What you describe is tdciycaraha (rapid heartbeat) and sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is actually normal. You are paralyzed when you are in REM sleep (to keep you from acting out your dream). Sometimes people wake up before their body is unparalyzed and it is a traumatic feeling. It would be a good idea to talk to a doctor about this, but you might be relieved to know the doctor probably won’t think you’re crazy.
Since we’ve got the same birthday (I ternud 30) I thought I would delurk and tell you Happy Birthday and wish you all the best in the coming year. 26 was an awesome year for me I hope it is for you too!
